Title – Corporate Benefits Manager
Reports directly to the CFO and will be responsible for a wide range of duties required for management and administration of our health, disability, life, voluntary and 401(k) retirement benefit plans.
Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to the following:
- Full Administration of the following Phalcon Benefits
- Health and Welfare Benefits
- Voluntary Benefits
- 401k/Profit Sharing Retirement Plan

- Process monthly insurance invoices, including downloading data and using Excel to allocate benefit and administration costs to each Phalcon company
- Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of employee deductions for all benefit plans

Other requirements
- Coordinate daily benefits processing, including enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, distributions, and compliance testing.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required
- Must have at least five years of experience administering benefits programs for a minimum level of 250 participants is required. This is not an entry level position.
- Knowledge of health (medical, dental, vision), life, ancillary voluntary and 401(k) Plan design

Job Description
Phalcon, Ltd., with offices in CT, MA, NJ, MD, VA and TN is looking for a Construction Project Scheduler with at least 2 years of experience related to project controls (cost & schedule) & reporting activities supporting construction projects. The ideal candidate will have specific experience supporting all types of construction projects in all aspects of project controls and reporting, including, project change management, cost control, progress measurement, schedule development and schedule control.
Candidate must be experienced in the following tasks
- Creation of baseline schedule submissions and provide narrative
- Review contractor’s baseline schedule submissions and provide narrative
- Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for conformance with contract
- Review critical path, cost loading, schedule content, use of relationships and lag, constraints and milestones
- Perform schedule impact analysis for contractor change orders and conduct schedule negotiations for contractor change orders
- Perform Critical Path analysis and Earned Value analysis
- Track and be involved in project issues as they relate to project schedules
- Walk the field, and perform weekly and monthly schedule progress and provide reports to the project OAR and upper management
- Ability to read drawings, determine if work is in or out of scope and understand terms and conditions of the contract to determine compensability, as well as concurrent delays
- Proactively anticipate schedule impacts and advise Project Team concerning same
- Effectively communicate with the contractor regarding all schedule/progress related matters and concerns in the weekly status meetings and all other schedule related meetings

Required Experience

Job Description
The Estimator will review bid documents for construction of transmission and distribution electrical infrastructure, will gather information and requirements to prepare cost estimates. Detailed cost estimates will include: unit pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. In addition, the estimator will be responsible to obtain and review bids from vendors, clients, subcontractors and incorporate as needed into a final RFP cost estimate.
Primary Responsibilities of the estimator include:
- Prepare complete cost estimates for substation and line construction projects with minimal supervision and ensure estimates are completed in accordance with bid schedule
- Prepare cost estimates of materials, labor and equipment for construction projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings and specifications
- Attend and represent McPhee at pre-bid conferences
- Understand and execute labor and material take-offs for substation and line work
- Prepare project cost breakdowns on estimates
- Coordinate and obtain price packages with suppliers, subcontractors, owners, designers and architects
- Assist project management throughout the project life-cycle in tracking and understanding basis of cost estimate and developing lessons learned as needed
- Assist project team in scoping of projects for engineering, construction, and contractual requirements.

Job Description
The junior estimator will perform cost estimating at entry level for construction of commercial, industrial, and transmission and distribution electrical infrastructure project. The successful candidate review bid documents and gather information and requirements to prepare cost estimates. Detailed cost estimates will include: unit pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. In addition, the estimator will be responsible to incorporate vendors, clients and subcontractors information into a final RFP cost estimate.
Primary Responsibilities of the estimator include:
- Perform quantity surveys and pricing of electrical components/systems for new and renovation construction projects
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates in a timely manner and to meet all schedules
- Prepare accurate and competitive bids with detail, format, and design consistent with project management systems and as required by the customer.
- Participate in and promote pre-job information accumulation and reviews in connection with project managers and superintendent
- Maintain files (both electronic and physical) of correspondence, bids, projects, etc.
- Participate, communicate and cooperate with project managers in understanding scope of work, pricing details, assumptions, means and methods contemplated
- Participate in preconstruction services and presentations. Develop preconstruction and design-build skills consistent with the marketplace.
- Conduct periodic site visits to confirm work methods and work approaches are consistent with the estimate

The construction project manager will manage, direct and coordinate all aspects of project life cycle of multiple and simultaneous projects. The junior estimator will perform cost estimating at entry level for construction of commercial, industrial, and transmission and distribution electrical infrastructure project. The successful candidate review bid documents and gather information and requirements to prepare cost estimates. Job Description
The junior estimator will perform cost estimating at entry level for construction of commercial, industrial, and transmission and distribution electrical infrastructure project. The successful candidate review bid documents and gather information and requirements to prepare cost estimates. Detailed cost estimates will include: unit pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. In addition, the estimator will be responsible to incorporate vendors, clients and subcontractors information into a final RFP cost estimate.
Primary Responsibilities of the estimator include:
- Perform quantity surveys and pricing of electrical components/systems for new and renovation construction projects

- Assist project management in oversight on multiple substation projects either in role of a prime contractor or as a subcontractor
