Part of National Grid’s $93 million electrical infrastructure upgrade, the 5-year Aquidneck Island Reliability Project involved building a new Jepson Substation, complete reconstruction of the Dexter substation, and demolition of the existing Jepson Substation. Phalcon provided services to Engineer, Procure and Construct (EPC) a New Jepson Substation, and reconstruct the Dexter substation facility. EPC responsibilities covered all aspects from site work to system construction to utility cutovers and commissioning and startup of systems ranging from 115kV down through 69kV and 13.8kV.
