What Customers Say
``Harlan Electric is my favorite vendor of all that we use because of your honesty, fairness, superb quality and unbelievably quick response time to service calls and proposals.``

I want to thank you for generously sending resources to help National Grid restore power to 121,000 customers in Rhode Island. As you know, our electric system was severely damaged following a devastating storm system that tore through Rhode Island on the morning of August 4, 2015.
It takes a team of dedicated, skilled and hard-working people to restore power as quickly as we did. We had National Grid employees from RI, MA and NY, along with crews from eight northeast states and Quebec. Everyone worked together seamlessly and all helped to support one another in a way that truly exemplified teamwork at its best. Thank you for you and your team's contributions to our restoration efforts. Please pass along my thanks to your team.``

“We (Primary Integration) want to sincerely thank J.E. Richards for their excellent performance during the electrical commissioning. We look forward to the next time we are a part of a project that has J.E. Richards performing as the Electrical Contractor. Not only will we be lucky knowing the electrical commissioning will be a delight, the end user will have an excellent contractor installing their equipment with a quality that will exceed their expectations.”

``I want to congratulate you and your firm for the exemplary safety performance at Yale University's Hendrie Hall project. We truly appreciate the proactive approach McPhee Electric is taking towards making this project successful in every way, especially with regard to the health and well-being of its employees.``

During this project there were multiple obstacles that came up and were handled superbly by Harlan to satisfy the client. Some examples include the complete change of lighting design at project start, issues with the shipping from the manufacturer which caused delays, the increase in scope of telecommunications data ports by approximately 25% and an early turn-over deadline of November 1st, 2018 which affected 90,000 square feet for temporary holiday mail processing space. Throughout the project progression, Solutions AEC also asked Harlan to supplement other subcontractor’s work force with manpower due to an increase in scope. Nate’s planning and Harlan’s flexible manpower allowed us to keep the original deadlines. With expert project management from Nate Chezem at Harlan, all deadlines were met with superior service.
Harlan Electric went above and beyond in this project due to their efforts and they were a critical part of success in the USPS Music City Annex project. Nate exemplified responsiveness, care for the project and honesty in all communication.
